Privacy Policy — SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver uses device features and handles information when you use the application.
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver is a driver-assistance application designed to help detect signs of drowsiness by analyzing the driver’s face and eyes with the device’s front-facing camera.
1. Privacy by Design
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver is designed to minimize the collection and use of personal information.
The current version of the application:
- does not require registration or a user account;
- does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists;
- does not contain advertising;
- does not use advertising identifiers;
- does not use analytics or tracking services;
- does not store camera photos or videos;
- does not upload camera images or video;
- does not share camera images or driver-monitoring data with third parties;
- processes camera images locally on the user’s device;
- does not transmit driver-monitoring data to external servers.
2. Camera Use
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver uses the device’s front-facing camera to monitor the driver’s face and eyes for signs of drowsiness, such as prolonged eye closure.
The camera is used only after the user intentionally starts driver monitoring and grants camera access.
Before the first camera permission request, the application explains why camera access is needed and how camera images are processed.
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not secretly activate the camera.
3. Camera Images and Video
Camera images are processed in real time on the user’s device.
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not:
- save camera images to device storage;
- create video recordings;
- upload camera images;
- send camera images to the developer;
- sell camera data;
- share camera data with advertisers or other third parties.
Camera images are used only for real-time driver drowsiness detection and are released after processing.
4. On-Device Processing
Face and eye analysis is performed locally on the user’s Android device.
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver uses on-device face-detection technology to analyze the driver’s face and eyes.
Camera images remain on the device and are not transmitted to external servers by SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver.
5. Background Monitoring
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver can continue monitoring during an active monitoring session when the user switches to another application.
For example, after starting monitoring, the user may open a navigation application such as Google Maps or Waze while SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver continues monitoring the driver.
Monitoring is started only after an explicit action by the user.
While monitoring is active:
- the front camera may remain active;
- Android may display a camera privacy indicator;
- an ongoing notification informs the user that monitoring is active;
- the user can stop monitoring at any time.
6. Notifications
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver may request permission to show notifications.
Notifications are used to:
- indicate that driver monitoring is active;
- keep the active monitoring session visible to the user;
- provide access to the STOP MONITORING function.
Notifications are not used for advertising or marketing.
Users can manage notification permissions at any time in Android system settings.
7. Vibration and Alarm Sounds
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver may use vibration and alarm sounds to alert the driver when signs of drowsiness are detected.
These functions operate locally on the device and do not collect or transmit personal information.
8. Internet and Network Communication
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not require Internet access for driver monitoring.
Camera images and driver-monitoring data are processed locally on the user’s device and are not transmitted over the Internet by SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver.
If the user independently opens a third-party application such as Google Maps or Waze, that application’s Internet usage and data processing are governed by its own privacy policy.
9. Location Information
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not collect or store the user’s precise or approximate location for its driver-monitoring functionality.
If the user opens a separate navigation application, location data processed by that application is governed by the third party’s own privacy policy.
10. Personal Information
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not require user registration or account creation.
The application does not intentionally collect:
- names;
- email addresses;
- phone numbers;
- postal addresses;
- contact lists;
- SMS messages;
- call history;
- payment information;
- financial information;
- precise location;
- advertising identifiers.
11. Advertising
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not currently contain advertising.
The application does not use:
- Google AdMob;
- banner ads;
- interstitial ads;
- rewarded ads;
- app-open ads;
- advertising identifiers.
12. Analytics and Tracking
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not currently use third-party analytics or behavioral-tracking services.
The application does not create advertising profiles and does not track users across unrelated applications or websites.
13. Data Sharing
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not sell personal information.
The application does not share camera images or driver-monitoring data with:
- advertisers;
- advertising networks;
- analytics companies;
- data brokers;
- marketing companies;
- social networks;
- other third parties.
Because camera processing takes place locally on the user’s device, the developer does not receive the camera images used for monitoring.
14. Data Storage and Retention
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not store photographs or video recordings from the monitoring camera.
Camera images are processed temporarily in the device’s memory and are released after processing.
The current version of the application does not maintain a developer-controlled database of user accounts or uploaded driver-monitoring data.
15. Data Deletion
Because SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not create user accounts and does not store user camera recordings or personal profiles on developer-controlled servers, there is normally no server-side personal data associated with the user that requires deletion.
Users can remove locally stored application settings by:
- clearing the application’s data through Android settings; or
- uninstalling SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver.
16. Permissions
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver may request access to the following device features:
- Camera — to monitor the driver’s face and eyes for signs of drowsiness;
- Notifications — to show when driver monitoring is active;
- Vibration — to provide drowsiness alerts.
The application also uses Android foreground-service functionality so that an active monitoring session can continue when another application is open.
Users can review or change permissions at any time in Android system settings.
17. Data Security
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver reduces privacy risks by processing camera information locally on the user’s device.
Camera images used for drowsiness detection are not transmitted to external servers by the application.
Users can revoke camera and notification permissions at any time through Android settings.
18. Children’s Privacy
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver is designed for drivers and is not intended for children.
The application is not specifically directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Users must comply with the minimum legal driving age and applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
19. Driver Safety Disclaimer
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver is a driver-assistance tool only.
It does not guarantee that a driver will remain awake, attentive, or safe.
The application is not a substitute for:
- adequate sleep;
- regular rest breaks;
- responsible driving practices;

If a driver feels tired or drowsy, they should stop driving in a safe location and rest.
Users should not interact with the application in a way that causes distraction while driving.
20. Third-Party Applications
A user may independently use third-party applications such as Google Maps or Waze while SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver monitoring is active.
SleepSafe – Anti Sleep Driver does not control the privacy practices of those third-party applications.
Information processed by Google Maps, Waze, Android, or other third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
